Beginning in November, CLTPL will undergo an interior “makeover”!
Anticipated changes include:
- new lights, carpet, and wall paint throughout the main library and staff areas
- changes to the circulation desk, which will enlarge our children’s area
- shelves relocated to provide easier access to large print materials
- relocation of the public computer tables, with wireless printing
- a designated teen area of the library
- a renovated archives room and an additional quiet study room
- a staff work station (for preparing books and display / program materials)
- an updated kitchenette for those who use the community room
Once the renovation is complete, we’ve also planned a shift in where the books are shelved.
We’re thrilled to bring you a refreshed library- but obviously, these changes cannot happen overnight. Please pardon our mess and bring a little extra patience with you when you visit over the next couple of months! The wait will be worth it!
