World Book Ebooks

World Book eBooks contain something for all ages and all subjects. This digital library includes highly illustrated, engaging titles that span the curriculum and reading levels.  Some books include interactive games, quizzes, and activities to enrich learning.

Hoopla

Hoopla is a digital media service offered by the Clayton Library that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV! Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later.  CLTPL patrons are permitted four (4) downloads per month per library card.

World Book Student

World Book Student Online Encyclopedia includes 40,000 encyclopedia articles & many other great reference tools. Great for students in elementary and middle school!

World Book Advanced

For high school students and adults, World Book Advanced contains thousands of articles, primary sources, and online books designed to support personalized learning and enhance digital citizenship. Includes up-to-the-minute access to worldwide news publications, government links from numerous countries, and multimedia reference materials.

World Book Timelines

Search more than 650 pre-generated timelines and 14,000 events in a highly interactive and customizable database.  Investigate the chronological significance of world events and the lives of notable historical figures.

Encyclopaedia Britannica

Access thousands of curated articles and magazines, images, videos, audio clips, primary sources, maps, research tools, and recommended websites, along with a pop-up Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary and Thesaurus.

INSPIRE

INSPIRE is Indiana’s Virtual Online Library. INSPIRE is a collection of online academic databases and other information resources that can be accessed by Indiana residents. INSPIRE includes full-text magazine and journal articles, websites, pamphlets, images, almanacs, full-text historic newspapers, multimedia, library catalogs and much more. In most cases, INSPIRE provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts of all articles that appear in every periodical with the exception of some newspapers.
