As of January 1, 2021, all CLTPL patrons will have access to the Encyclopaedia Britannica database!
There are three levels of the database: children, young adult, and reference (adult).
Using Britannica for research will provide patrons with articles, images, videos, quality websites, primary sources and related ebooks on the search topic. Students and researchers will also be able to access the citation (MLA, APA, Chicago, or Harvard Style) for articles, images, videos and primary sources used in research.
For over 250 years, Encyclopaedia Britannica has been a trusted source of information- and it’s now available 24/7 at your fingertips!
Go to the Links page of our website and select “Resources”. Once you click on the Encyclopaedia Britannica link, you’ll need to enter in your library card number for access.
Happy Researching!
